New Treat #90: Stumbleine

I’ve mentioned Stumbleine previously in posts. They keep on blowing me away with their unique brand of chillwave/lo-fi/shoegaze or whatever you want to call it. Last week they released a new EP entitled ‘Drifting Youth’ and it’s so good I felt like it was time I featured them properly.

I don’t know much about Stumbleine, except that they are from Bristol, everything else about them is a bit of a mystery. I assume that it is a producer who is also a musician as a lot of it is samples that seem to be mixed with original sounds. I could be wrong though. Whatever they do to create this music, they do it very well. The music transports you into this whole new sound world.

They have collaborated with the likes of Shura, Essay, and remixed songs by Sorrow and Sweetheart of Kairi as well as creating two twenty minute long mixtapes. Give it a listen and you might surprise yourself.

You can find more tracks on their Soundcloud or Bandcamp pages.
