New Treat #36: Treetop Flyers

After winning the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, Treetop Flyers have been catching the ears and hearts of many. Their harmonious country rock music mixes Fleet Foxes and Crosby, Stills and Nash harmonies with Old Crow Medicine Show and Mumford & Sons foot stomping beats, but although you can compare them to many bands of the current folk revival, they ultimately stand there own ground with a unique sound and incredible musicianship. They are going to fit very nicely at Glastonbury where they will grace the Other Stage alongside Mumford & Sons, Bright Eyes and Fleet Foxes. Their first EP ‘To Bury the Past’ is available to listen to on Spotify, and their new single ‘Things will Change’, which is being released on Communion records on May 23rd, its brilliant and a review will be coming soon. I am super excited for what this band are going to do next, so much potential. Here are some of their upcoming dates:

May 1st: Camden Crawl

May 5th: Mr. Wolfs, Bristol

May 22nd: Wood Festival

May 23rd: Single Launch at Borderline, London

June 4th: Bushstock Festival

June 25th: Glastonbury Festival

July 1st: Hope Farm Festival

July 2nd: Blissfields Festival

July 10th: Soul Cellar, Southampton
