My 10 bands to go see at Glastonbury: 9. Ray Davies

Glastonbury is never short of its classic acts, the Pyramid Stage on Sunday sees Slash, Stevie Wonder and my number 9, Ray Davies. For those unaware who he is, he was the lead singer/songwriter of The Kinks. I hope you understand exactly who he is now. The Kinks, along with the Beatles pretty much defined the UK British pop scene of the 60’s and with songs like ‘Lola’, ‘Sunny Afternoon’, ‘You Really Got Me’ and many many more its sure to be a Sunday afternoon treat! He is also set to be joined by a full choir which should be interesting. He is an incredibly underrated songwriter and after headlining the Acoustic Stage last year he rightfully takes his place on the Pyramid this year.
