Hop Farm and Other Festival News

Hop Farm Festival has now announced its line-up and its rather good if I may say. Headlining is Bob Dylan and also playing is Mumford and Sons, Seasick Steve, Pete Doherty and Laura Marling. There will also be lots more of acts announced in the future. Its not a very expensive festival either, tickets are £65 plus £25 for two days of camping. I think it might be one of the best value for money festivals going. On top of all that its a no sponsorship, no branding festival. All sounds rather lovely to me. The festival takes place on Saturday 3rd July in Kent.

In other news, Summer Sundae have added a few more lovely acts this week. So far the highlights of the line-up include Mumford and Sons, Local Natives, Johnny Flynn, Lissie, Fanfarlo, Fionn Regan, Tunng and Los Campesinos!

Latitude’s line-up is also rather good. Headlining is Florence and the Machine, Vampire Weekend and Belle and Sebastian. Also confirmed are Noah and the Whale, Grizzly Bear, the XX and The Temper Trap.

Live at Leeds which is a urban festival in Leeds which takes place over the May bank holiday weekend has now announced its full line-up too!

Next Monday, Leeds/Reading announced their line-up and the Big Chill on Wednesday. I also expect some more Glastonbury head-liner news around the time of the ticket re-sale on April 11th.
